Friday Email Catalog Filter

Goal

Suppress quarantined legacy recipes from every Friday recipe-bearing email while preserving historical meal-plan records and UI access.

Tasks

• Trace proposal, reminder, and finalization email item selection.
• Filter each path through one active-recipe item helper.
• Add mixed active/quarantined regression coverage for all three emails.
• Run focused PostgreSQL tests, Python compilation, and scoped diff checks.

Done When

• Friday emails contain active recipes and no quarantined recipe names or ingredients.
• Historical meal-plan rows and APIs remain unchanged.

Verification

• 17 passed, 17 deselected from the recipe-bearing orchestrator subset against disposable PostgreSQL.
• Python compilation and scoped git diff --check passed.
• Disposable database was dropped.
• Final read-only review found no P1/P2 issues.
• Production backend and scheduler were rebuilt and recreated; backend is healthy, scheduler is running, and both runtime images loaded the active-catalog filter.
