# Three-Dinner Meal Media

|
Completed 2026-09-01 with one-time approval.
|
|
|
|
- Root causes: bundled starter recipes intentionally had null image fields; calories were present in catalog, DB, and API but absent from Dashboard and meal-detail rendering.
|
|
- UI: meal cards display kcal; meal details display kcal/serving; all recipe image surfaces resolve local static URLs through the active Home Assistant ingress prefix.
|
|
- Backend: successful OpenAI generation records `image_source=openai:<model>` alongside the persisted local URL.
|
|
- Production: generated and persisted `gpt-image-1` PNGs for Baked Ziti with Spinach, Beefy Stuffed Bell Peppers, and Red Bean Rice Pot only. Existing historical/quarantined rows were untouched.
|
|
- Verification: 13 frontend tests, TypeScript, Vite build, backend image test, Python compilation, and scoped diff checks passed. Live API/DB assertions confirmed calories, image URLs, active status, and provenance; all images returned HTTP 200 `image/png`. Backend and DB are healthy, and all five services are running.
